THE CONTRIBUTION OF NATIVE DIPLOMACY TO VICTORY IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR

Abstract: the article highlights the great importance of diplomacy in the modern world and assesses the role of Soviet diplomacy on the eve and during the Second World War, in the period from January 1941 to September 1945. The international significance of diplomatic meetings held during the war years was quite large, and their total number exceeded two dozen. Of course, not all of them had a great international resonance, but some of them played their fateful role in the history of both the great countries themselves and in the history of the Second World War as a whole. A certain influence they had on the subsequent post-war mutual relations of the Allies after the end of the Great War.
