Abstract: based on archival sources, published literature, periodicals basic studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences and national research institutions in the field of agriculture, Dagestan the pre-war years are considered.
It is important to note that DRIIA took an active part in the work of the experimental production plot “Marine-1” of Dagestan experimental reclamation station (DERS) created in the Kizlyarsky area on the shore of the Caspian Sea in the early 80-ies.
In 1967 the Dagestan veterinary research station was organized by the Caspian Sea Zonal Research Veterinary Institute (DagRIVI).
The scientists of the Institute continued with research on critical issues of veterinary science and practice.
In the early 70-ies Institute studies were carried out on the definition of status issued by the livestock brucellosis and the effectiveness of prevention in the Republic and healthy events.
